You Are That Which Is, Was, and Shall Be, devoid of body or mind or personality when unmanifested and capable, via Full Realization, of being free of body identification and a corrupted “mind” and personas while manifested. You are invited to see how all desire and longing and fear can be transcended when you no longer embrace the limited identity of a physical body or the corrupted “mind” or any fictional personality.

Gems from Mata Amritanandamayi-1:
By doing selfless service for at least one day, everyone should help the poor and needy. It is Amma's prayer that at least this small dream be realised.

For Spiritual Aspirants-10:
I came across this wonderful article, THE GURU IN HIS ELEMENT, by Poonam Srivastava in the Chennai edition of Deccan Chronicle dated July 18, 2012. It is about Lord Dattatreya who is considered as an amalgamate reincarnation of Brahma, Vishnu and Siva. The most interesting part of the article is about the 24 gurus of Dattatreya. If one has an open mind, one can learn not only from any living being but also from inanimate objects. All spiritual aspirants could benefit by reading this article. I then searched for details in the Net and found two very good sites with complete details, which I am furnishing below:
Twenty Four Gurus From the Srimad Bhagavatam
http://swamij.com/twenty-four-gurus.htm
Who are Dattatreya's 24 gurus from the site REIKI PATH:
http://www.reikipath.org/miscellaneous-discussion/who-are-dattatreya's-24-gurus~/
I am also furnishing a link for those who want to know more about Lord Dattatreya (contains a painting of Lord Dattatreya by Raja Ravi Varma):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dattatreya
Then I found another very good site, The World Teacher Trust, containing an article on Lord Dattatreya from the book, "Sri Dattatreya" by Dr K Parvathi Kumar, published by Dhanishta:

Grateful thanks to Ms Poonam Srivastava, Deccan Chronicle, Swamiji.com, Reikipath.org, The World Teacher Trust and Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
