BHAKTI IS IMMORTAL

Sri Ramakrishna once said to Narendra (Swami Vivekananda): God is the Ocean of Amrita, Immortality.  "Suppose there is  nectar of love  in a vessel; how will you enjoy it?" Narendra replied: "I shall sit in the corner of the vessel which contains nectar and then sip from there."  Sri Ramakrishna smiled and said: "Why not from inside, from the depths of it?" Narendra replied:  "Oh no! For, then I shall die." Sri Ramakrishna laughed at this, and said: "It is not of that nature. When one drowns in that love, one never dies because it is 'amrta', immortality itself".
